Micah Brown: Wedding Planner

Some shoots feel like a job. Others feel like a party. Filming Micah’s styled wedding showcase definitely landed in the party category. She is the kind of wedding planner who walks into a room and instantly transforms it, and this project was her chance to show exactly why her clients love her.
The setup was nothing short of a full experience. Gorgeous floral designs, multiple models in stunning dresses, and a venue that looked like it was made for the camera. Everywhere we turned, there was another little detail begging to be captured. It was less of a “shoot” and more like stepping into a living Pinterest board, and Micah was the mastermind behind all of it.
From behind the lens, we got to play with so many layers. Wide shots that showed the grandeur of the venue, close-ups that highlighted every petal and lace detail, and candid moments that felt straight out of a real wedding day. The magic wasn’t just in the visuals though. It was in the way Micah orchestrated everything with ease, pulling together vendors, models, and design into one seamless vision.
What made the day so fun was the energy in the room. It wasn’t stiff or overly staged. It felt alive. Everyone involved seemed to be enjoying themselves, which made our job that much easier. When the people in front of the camera are having fun, the footage always shows it.
Looking back, this project was a reminder that weddings are more than timelines and checklists. They are about creating experiences that people remember long after the flowers fade. Micah gave us that experience in one afternoon, and we were thrilled to capture every bit of it on film.
