Knockerball is more than a game. On campuses like Duke, it has grown into a full-blown tradition where rival teams play for pride and bragging rights. What makes it so fun to film isn’t just the action on the field, but the way students throw themselves into building their team identities.

Every group showed up with something unique. Matching colors, creative outfits, accessories that set them apart — all of it designed to spark unity and give their squad an edge. From coordinated headbands to face paint to custom shirts, the details mattered. These weren’t just random pick-up games. They felt like mini tournaments, with each team wearing their pride as boldly as their bubble suits.

The competition was intense, but it was also joyful. You could see how much fun everyone was having, whether they were colliding on the field or hyping each other up on the sidelines. And in the middle of all that, bonds were forming. Friends were becoming teammates, classmates were becoming rivals, and a simple game turned into a memory everyone could share.

From behind the camera, it was easy to tell this was about more than winning. It was about connection. Knockerball gave the students a way to express themselves, to lean into their creativity, and to celebrate being part of something bigger. The result was a colorful, chaotic, and unforgettable day.

Let’s create something extraordinary together.
